The engine infers the language from the script you paste, so Devanagari Hindi with English brand names inside it reads correctly.
What to expect per language
These voices come from one multilingual engine rather than from 23 separately trained ones, so quality is not uniform: Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Gujarati are the strongest, and the smaller scheduled languages are usable but plainer. Audition the language you need before promising a client a delivery date.
- Script decides the language, so paste in Devanagari, Bengali or Tamil script rather than transliterating.
- English brand names inside an Indian sentence read correctly and are the usual reason a transliterated script fails.
- Renders are slower than the English catalogue and are metered separately.
